Telaprolu is an area located towards the east of Vijayawada. This suburban neighbourhood is a part of the Unguturu Mandal, under the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. The area is known for the Rangamma Perantalu Temple, which is dedicated to the goddess Rangamma Perantalu.
