Road is a township located in North of Mumbai and is a part of politan gion. It is governed by -Bhayandar Municipal Corporation (MBMC). Road offers excellent connectivity via highways, sea links and suburban railway. -Bhayander belt enjoys easy accessibility from western suburbs through the Western Highway. Ghodbunder Road connects Road to Thane and to Navi Mumbai via NH-4. The TMT is running their bus service from Road to Thane. Also the -Bhayandar Mahanagarpalika has started its own bus service under the title of Bhayandar Municipal Transport (MBMT). Besides roadways, the locality is also connected through the western line of the Suburban Railway.
