Karamsad is a municipality in the Anand district of Gujarat. The locality is a part of Chhagaam Gol or Circle of Six Villages. The area is known best as the hometown of Indian freedom fighter Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. His older brother, Vithalbhai Patel, also grew up here.
